What do you do when your neighborhood gets together to put up Christmas lights and you are told you are the ONLY one who signed up to bring a dessert to the chili potluck in 3 hours and you had NO IDEA you were supposed to even bring a dessert? (Thanks Honey!)
You make a quick batch of fudgie brownies of course! lol
You also put together these bad boys for a fun, ‘I-totally-remembered’ dessert!.
Melt your white chocolate bark. I usually melt 33 seconds at a time. That way you don’t burn the chocolate. Also, if it’s too hot, it won’t be creamy.
Dip marshmallow ends one at a time. Tap off excess chocolate on side of bowl.
Immediately after dipping into chocolate, hold over another bowl and sprinkle rainbow sprinkles on the melted chocolate. Do not try to place the marshmallow INTO the sprinkles. You will end up with clumpy sprinkles! Please don’t ask me how I know this fact. 😉
Place on fancy tray and voila! Instant cuteness. And total time to prepare: less than 30 minutes!
It would take a shorter amount of time to prepare with the kids’ involvement, but then they would have exposed the fact that I “forgot” and hurriedly raided the pantry and this is the only “homemade” thing I could come up with. Love those stinkers.
I hope you enjoy this as much as my neighborhood did! *wink – it’s our little secret!
XO,
JB
