I’ve always hoped for, but never imagined that this would be my reality. When I got the email that I was accepted and my photographs would be showcased at the Douglas County Treasurer’s Office I screamed. My sweet family thought I was crazy and for a moment I probably was.

The Local Artist Series can be viewed during normal business hours for the County Courthouse: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays.

I am feeling beyond blessed and incredibly grateful. Perseverance wins. Do not ever give up on that dream no matter how big or small. Keep smiling and keep moving forward. Eventually you’ll get the ‘you’ve been accepted’ email and scream like a mad woman.
