BB&BBQ – Arkansas Motorcycle Trip

The Hunky-Hubby and I took a motorcycle trip to Arkansas last month to attend the Bikes Blues and BBQ rally in Fayetteville.

Now I’ve been to Arkansas several times before, but always thought is was mostly a, a-humm, a hillbilly state. 😉

It wasn’t until I was actually riding thru with the wind in my hair did I realize how beautiful the state is.  Did you know Arkansas has MOUNTAINS??  It also has PINE TREES that smelled soo wonderful!  Eureka Springs is one of the most beautiful towns I’ve ever been to.  And the winding roads make for some excellent rides.

The Hubby and I have done motorcycle rides before (Bikers for Babies mostly), and so I’ve seen masses of motorcycles before.  With BfB, we all go the same direction with a same goal; to ride thru the stops and come to a final stop to eat.  Before BB&BBQ I have NEVER seen so many motorcycles on the roadways, in restaurants/bars, or gas stations.  We rode several hours outside of Fayetteville and there was still a sea of chrome shining on the curvy roads.

A truly amazing experience.  One that I plan to return to year after year.
