Amazing Maternity Portraits | Lenexa KS Family Photographer | Jenni Blake

Every once and a while I will post a “call for portraits”on the JB Photo and Design FB page .  These session calls usually involve a *very* good deal (usually free and you’ll receive a print) and it’s usually because I’ve got some ideas I want to try in the pose/style/editing.  There is no obligation to purchase additional prints, however, you do have the opportunity if you so choose.  (Side note – the only way to know about these “call for portraits” is to become a fan on FB so click the above link or on the ‘Get Social’ tab and like, like, like because everyone enjoys free, free, free! :))

I recently posted a “call for portraits” for mama’s who are in their late 7 to early 8 month of pregnancy. Maternity portraits can be taken at any stage of pregnancy, however, I am partial to late in the pregnancy to get that beautiful big baby bump.  Maternity portraits are one of my absolute favorite sessions.  The glow.  The excitement of the new beginning.  The tranquility of the babe in utero; all wrapped up in love and comfort.  The joy that surrounds the whole family awaiting the arrival of the little bundle is extremely contagious.

This sweet Mama met me at Black Hoof park for a very quick maternity session.  Isn’t the baby belly gorgeous?!
