Moist and Delicious: Our Ultimate Banana Bread Recipe

This recipe is a favorite in our home. The teens/adult children request it over and over. Which is why I am so happy this recipe is so easy!

And, if your household is anything like mine, we purchase bananas with every intention on devouring them within the week but end up with sad looking bananas within 2 days.

But it’s okay! Make this banana bread and the bananas didn’t have to die in vain.

Anyway, back to the recipe.

This recipe does take an hour or so to bake but whipping it together is super easy and quick.

Make this today – your family will love you for it.

Note – 4 of the 5 people in my family love the chocolate chips in this bread. If you prefer things without chocolate, then go for it! But I will never understand this…

*** ULTIMATE BANANA BREAD – the best, most tasty bread you’ll ever have as long as you live ***

ITEMS NEEDED:

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup butter, melted

3 bananas

2 tsp vanilla

1/2 cup sour cream

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

1.5 cups all purpose flour

1/2 – 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350F.

Mash 3 bananas with a fork. Set aside.

In separate bowl, combine sugar and melted butter.

Add eggs & vanilla. Mix well.

Add sour cream, banana, baking soda & salt. Combine.

Add flour. Combine.

Add chocolate chips. Stir.

Spray loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.

Pour in batter. sprinkle a few chocolate chips over the top.

Place in preheated oven for 1 hour & 6 minutes or until golden brown in color.

Remove from oven and cool completely in loaf pan.

Remove from pan and serve.
