The Best Cinnamon Rolls | Tik Tok Made Me Do It | Pinterest Famous Favorite

This was originally posted on my Pinterest page in October of 2022. Not only is it still one of the top performing pins, it continues to be the favorite in my house. I cannot believe I haven’t yet posted this on the website. It’s seriously the best. recipe. EVER.

When I originally saw this way of creating cinnamon rolls floating around the web world last fall I had to re-create it. I mean, who doesn’t love a good sticky bun?

I hate to say it but these rival my HOMEMADE cinnamon rolls. Shh – don’t tell anyone I said that!

These are so quick as they use canned cinnamon rolls and basic ingredients, and they truly taste like homemade. Granted, if you like yeast dough in your cinnamon rolls that distinct flavor will be missing from these. But, if you’re in a hurry and want to impress, these will do the job beautifully.

I *highly* recommend you make these – super easy and extremely delicious – as in you will fight to just eat one.

NOTE :: In most videos you’ve probably seen elsewhere for this recipe, it is recommended to add heavy cream to the bottom of the dish but at the time of these images I didn’t have any on hand so I used what I had – vitamin d milk. It worked just fine then and it’s what I continue to use.

On with the recipe::

*** TIK TOK FAMOUS CINNAMON ROLLS ***

ITEMS NEEDED:

2 – Can Pillsbury cinnamon rolls

1 – Stick butter

1 – Cup brown sugar

1 – Tablespoon cinnamon (not pictured)

Heavy cream or milk

Preheat oven to 350F.

Place rolls in 9×13 dish that has been coated with nonstick spray.

Pour heavy cream/milk on bottom of dish. Use enough to just coat the bottom – approx. 3-5 tablespoons.

Melt butter. Add brown sugar and cinnamon. Stir to combine. Pour on top of rolls.

Cover with foil. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes.

Remove from oven and carefully lift off foil.

Spread the cream cheese frosting that came with the cinnamon rolls to top of warm rolls. Serve.
